A note from Jordan

You don’t need every answer to take the first step.

If homeownership is on your heart, but you’re not sure where to begin, there’s room for you here.

Sometimes a dream feels exciting until you start wondering how you’re actually going to get there. Then come the questions. Where do I start? What should I be doing now? Am I even ready?

If that sounds familiar, I want you to know that you don’t have to have it all figured out before you start a conversation.

Start with the life you’re hoping to build.

Before the numbers, there’s a reason you’re thinking about home. Maybe you want a little more room. Maybe you’re imagining a garden, a porch, or a place that finally feels like yours.

That part matters to me. Understanding what you’re hoping for helps us put the next step in the context of your life.

A question is a perfectly good beginning.

You can come with a list of questions, a house you’ve been looking at, or simply a goal you’re not sure how to reach yet. We can talk through where you are and what you want to understand.

Some people are ready to move soon. Others need time and a plan. Both are good places to begin.

That’s why this Journal is here.

I want The Homeownership Journal to be a place you can come back to for clear explanations, encouragement, and conversations about the life beyond the loan.

Buying my first home at 19 years old changed something in me. Getting to help other people work toward their own version of home is why I love this work.

You don’t need every answer today. We’ll figure out the next step together.
